Arezzo: antique markets and shops in Tuscany
The province of Arezzo, in between Florence, Siena and Umbria, is Tuscany's most unspoiled part. The landscape has beautiful valleys, woodlands and vast estates. Historical Arezzo is known as Italy's antique city, having a great antique market every first weekend of the month. Arezzo offers a pleasant combination of nature and culture. Between Arezzo and Siena
This region is bordered by the Chianti region, the south of Tuscany and the Val d'Arno, the valley between south-eastern Tuscany and Florence. Vast vineyards give way to estates and woodlands and tranquillity reigns in this region. The area has a rich and abundant past, still visible in its excellent villas and charming villages. Most historical cities of Tuscany and Umbria can easily be reached from here. A stay here is pleasant because of the region's convenient, central situation.

Valtiberina, towards Umbria
Valtiberina is Tuscany's eastern region. The regions of Romagna, Le Marche and Umbria have had a large influence on the architecture, habits and handicrafts of this region. It is home to remarkable and characteristic cities such as Sansepolcro and Anghiari. Other unique features are the many cloisters, churches and medieval castles. This part of Tuscany is relatively unspoiled and invites you to enjoy the splendid nature, culture and gastronomic highlights of the region, away from mass tourism.
